Gainesville High graduate killed in Iraq
A soldier from Gainesville was killed Monday in an explosion in Iraq, the Pentagon announced Tuesday evening. Army Spc. Christopher T. Neiberger, 22, died in Baghdad of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device -- the weapon of choice of insurgents trying to drive out U.S. forces, the Pentagon said.
